Timely and accurate pruning of perennials, shrubs, and trees also promote development and increase longevity. All of the methods I use to maintain a garden are intended to have minimal impact on the surrounding environment while offering the best possible care for you plants. I try to use organic methods whenever possible.

Each garden or stone design I create integrates so many different elements. A site visit and client meeting are the first two critical steps in determining possibilities and ideas. I try to utilize existing natural elements to create harmony within the landscape. This along with texture, shape, and color are all considerations in creating an overall successful design.
I create an individualized plan and layout for each design including scaled drawings and plant lists.

When I install a new garden or renovate an existing one, careful attention is given to not only the plants but the soil as well. I only use top quality perennials, shrubs, and trees from reputable local sources. I add soil amendments to help establish the plants and stimulate strong, healthy growth.
